Maisey is an adorable sweet little girl that is very playful and loves to cuddle up and give you lots and lots of love.  She is possibly housetrained, but may be a little refresher course.   She came to the Sanctuary from a high kill pound and was very thin, undernourished, and somewhat shy and fearful.  She has since blossomed into a beautiful trusting little girl. Maisey loves to carry her toys around and loves playing with other animals.  She is approximately 2 years old and will make a wonderful loyal companion to whoever takes her home.  She loves to love you up and will give you little kisses.  You really can’t help but fall in love with this little girl.  She is an extremely happy girl.

Previous Animal of the Month

Josh Blue was born 6/22/10.  Him and his littermates have cerebellar hypoplasia that causes a neurologic condition.  Josh Blue doesn’t know that anything is wrong with him.  He just bobbles and woggles when he walks.

He is absolutely adorable and precious.  The only special need that he will require is a lower litterbox without a lid so he can get in and out of the litter pan.   He may need some help getting up on the couch with you as he will try to get to you but may stumble and fall.

He is a super friendly boy, very social and loves to be cudded up.  This little precious boy will bring many, many special moments into your life and you will immediately fall in love with him.

This very special little boy just needs someone willing to allow him to just be himself and not be to overly protective of him as he thinks he is normal and just  doesn’t know anything different then what he is.

We have had several of these ‘bobble’ babies as we like to call them in the past and they have made exceptional pets.  If your looking for something special and different then Josh Blue may just be the cat for you.

Adoption fees include:  sterilizations, distemper vaccine/s, wormers, vet exam, Felv tests, flea prevention, earmite treatments, Distemper vaccine, Calici – Rhinotracheitis Intranasal vaccine, medical treatments on all pre-existing medical issues known to GTAS.

If you are interest in Josh Blue, please call 763-537-5599 to set up an appointment.  For pre-approval please visit our website at www.gt-as.com and click on the Forms icon.

ADOPTED!!

Selmer is thought to be approximately 7 months to 1 year old. He is very obviously a lap dog and was well loved and taken care of. He is very friendly and loving and will follow you wherever you go.  Our best guess on his breed is Duch X/Chihuhaha/Terrier X of some type.  He is a very small dog and will remain small.

He will make someone very happy if you are looking for a dog that you want to hold, cuddle, and spoil rotten.  He will be a very loyal companion.  He does okay around small puppies and other dogs and even cats.

Selmer does get a little nervous around smaller children so he will not be allowed to be adopted into a home with smaller children.  He would do very well with a single person and has a great personality once he gets to know you and feels comfortable in his surroundings.  He loves to play with squeeky toys, go for walks, and just snuggle with you.  He likes to be carried around and will give you little kisses.  Selmer really deserves another chance at life and would really really love for someone to take him home to pamper and spoil him. He loves to have his tummy rubbed and just wants someone to love him up.

His adoption fee of $200 includes his 1st two distemper vaccines, heartworm NEG, bordetella vaccine, frontline, wormers, vet exam and neuter. Adoption fees include: Felv tests, Worming treatments, flea prevention, earmite treatments, Distemper vaccine, Calici – Rhinotracheitis Intranasal vaccine, medical treatments on all pre-existing medical issues known to GTAS and sterilizations.
